(b. Tehran) Visual Artist and Photographer based in Norway.

Pooyan Jalilvand’s practice explores the intersection of modern life and

political coercion. With a background in Architecture and Fine Art, he

investigates how authoritarian structures utilize propaganda to shape

public consciousness, specifically focusing on the instrumentalization of

urban and natural landscapes as tools for imposing state ideologies. His

recent work expands into the politics of space, displacement, and the

concept of "suspended time" within contemporary institutional settings.

He is a contributing photographer at Middle East Images.
