In an era driven by an insatiable libido for creation and production, the contemporary landscape is saturated with billions of daily commodities and images-imagery generated without the promise of visibility, and goods produced in the absence of necessity. In response to this compulsive surplus, this work renounces the act of generating new imagery. By intervening in the domestic archive, the project extracts vernacular fragments from family albums, subjecting them to a process of unhurried selection and re-assemblage to construct a new narrative.
